Mrs. Wicket has a new hat that looks like Scrapper. During a chase, Scrapper knocks Mrs. Wicket's sideboard down, squashing the hat. Mr. Bean mistakes the hat for Scrapper and takes it to the vet.

Plot[]
The episode starts with Bean locking his Mini just as Wicket arrives home holding a white box. Bean asks Wicket what's in the box but Wicket won't tell him. Wicket enters the house and gets the key behind the flower pot to unlock her door. Bean asks Wicket if he can help her to which she declines his help. Wicket goes inside her room and opens her white box, revealing a fur hat that has the same color scheme as Scrapper. She wears the hat and looks at the mirror to check; she likes it. Wicket opens her cabinet but it's locked so she just leaves her hat on the sideboard.
Bean enters his room and sees Scrapper biting Teddy so he chases him to save Teddy. Scrapper goes under the bed to which Bean follows him there but he gets stuck under the bed. Wicket locks her room and she leaves. Bean gets out from under the bed just as Scrapper jumps to the window, with Teddy still in his mouth. Scrapper jumps to the window and slides down the pipe to the garden and runs to Wicket's room via the pet door. Bean runs downstairs to Wicket's room and he knocks the door, not knowing that Wicket just left. When there's no answer, Bean tries to open the door but it's locked. He remembers where Wicket keeps her key so he gets it to unlock the door. Inside Scrapper is biting Teddy just as Bean enters Wicket's flat. Bean spots Scrapper and he tries to save Teddy from him; he and Scrapper pull Teddy; Bean successfully gets Teddy from Scrapper, and Scrapper is flung to the sideboard. Scrapper flees when the sideboard tumbles over.
Teddy is saved and Bean sees fur poking from under the sideboard; he is horrified, think that he squashed Scrapper. So Bean goes to Wicket's kitchen and gets a box; discarding the contents inside it first. Bean takes out the hat that he thinks is Scrapper and puts it in the box. Bean then goes to the vet. But he accidentally drops his keys under his Mini when he pulls it out. When Bean gets his keys, he doesn't notice that the hat fell off the box. Bean drives off, leaving the hat on the road; while Scrapper just licks his leg while sitting on the entrance.
Bean arrives at the vet at brings the box to the counter and he sees a line of people so he whispers to the receptionist but he has to wait because there's queue. Bean tries to explain but the receptionist tells him to sit, which he reluctantly does. A boy whose pet is a white mouse asks Bean what is he holding to which Bean says it's a box. Then the woman whose pet is a white cat asks Bean what's in the box. Bean then makes a meowing sound to make them think there's a cat inside the box. Everybody stares at Bean when he makes the purring sound. Bean gets impatient so he asks how long he was to wait. So the receptionist goes inside to ask. Not wanting to wait, Bean opens the mouse cage while its owner is busy playing video games, making the mouse escape. The cat sees the mouse and it chases it. Then a white dog chases the cat. The three owners are forced to leave when their pets run away. The receptionist tells Bean he's next then she's confused because the other customers are gone. Bean continues making purring noises, making the receptionist feel uneasy. The red light turns green so it's Bean's turn.
Inside the clinic, Bean gives the box to the vet asking him if there's anything he can do to heal Scrapper. Bean then tells the vet to tell him the worst; the vet opens the box and shows Bean that it's empty, to his horror. Bean then flees from the clinic to look for Scrapper, to the annoyance of the vet and the receptionist. He returns to his Mini to look for Scrapper; while there he throws his tools. Bean then returns home, while leaving his tools outside the vet. While Bean returns home, he runs over something; and to his horror it's Wicket's hat that he thinks is Scrapper. Bean dejectedly returns home to tell Wicket that Scrapper is dead; he shows Wicket her hat that he thinks is Scrapper. Wicket gets angry when her new hat is ruined, confusing Bean. She wears her hat but it's ruined. Then Scrapper reveals himself to Bean, shocking Bean because he thought Scrapper got crushed. Wicket gets furious at Bean for ruining her hat, to Scrapper's delight. Bean chuckles nervously.
