The unnamed Restaurant Owner is a recurring character in Mr Bean: The Animated Series. He is the owner of Restaurant La Cuisine. Based on his accent and gesture, he is believed to be of French descent.
Appearance
He is a skinny man with black hair, a thin mustache, and a black suit, with a bow tie, black trousers, and black shoes.
Personality
He is shown to be greedy, which is best exemplified when he allows Mr. Bean and Harry to come in after hours when the former shows him a wad of cash. He gets disappointed if he loses money and customers. His greed can make him bit nasty, as he threatens to have the chef whack his customers with a rolling pin if they don't do what he says, as shown when Harry had to work off his debt. He was also disappointed in Bean for ordering a pizza in "Pizza Bean". Despite being a jerk to Bean, he does seem to care about him, since he was shown worried when the male celebrity was going to attack Bean.
