He is nice and kind-hearted man to people when visiting his store. but in In the Pink he gets suspicious of Mr. Bean holding a pink badger that escaped. This is because he assumes that Bean is associated with the burglar duo who forced him to buy the pink painted badgers, therefore he kicked him out of his store before closing it early.

He is an Indian man with half bald grey hair and moustache, he wears a rectangle shaped glasses, a biege coat, with a green shirt on it with buttons, and a belt, and black trousers, and a black shoes.
