Mr. Maggs is a supporting character in the Animated Series. He is a pie maker and has his own brand called "Mr. Maggs pies".
Bio[]
Mr. Maggs is encountered by Mr. Bean who has heard the store manager hosting a pie-eating contest; whoever can eat a whole pie faster than the maker of the pies, Mr. Maggs, will win free shopping. Bean decides to join the contest and puts two bags of meatballs to his cart. Bean joins the contest. When the contest starts, Bean adds salt to his pie only to realize Mr. Maggs quickly finished his. Angry, Bean wants to do the contest again so Mr. Maggs agrees and the manager gives him another pie. The contest starts again and Mr. Maggs finishes his pie in just a few bites. The manager asks for the next contestant but Bean still wants to shop for free so he secretly pulls out the hot sauce from his cart while pretending to just get Teddy. Bean kicks his cart away, causing it to hit the stack of tomato sauce cans, scattering them on the floor once again. So everybody goes to the scattered tomato cans to fix them. While everybody is distracted, Bean adds hot sauce to Mr. Maggs' pie. After that, Bean is now ready for the next round. Mr. Maggs bites his pie but it's now very spicy. Bean is taking his time eating his pie while Mr. Maggs can no longer eat the last slice because it's too spicy. Bean is declared the winner so he is able to shop for free but he's now full after eating too many pies.

Mr. Maggs is rather a calm and friendly person. He is shown to be a gourmet when it comes to eating his own pies and other food.

He is a white-haired man of an average height.

In this episode he is shown to be wearing a pale blue t-shirt, blue trousers, a yellow apron and black shoes.
Wedding Day[]
In this episode he was wearing a white shirt, grey jacket (or a suit), a black bowtie, grey trousers that are the same colour as the jacket and black shoes. He has also changed his hair colour from white to grey in this episode.
Bean Hypnotised[]
In this episode he was shown to be wearing similar clothes to those he wore in the episode "Wedding Day": a white shirt, a dark suit, a black bowtie, dark trousers and most likely black shoes.
