Mr. Bean appeared in a commercial for M&M's in 1997.
Plot[]
The commercial starts with the M&M's 'spokescandies' Red and Yellow at a bowling alley, where the former tosses a bowling ball and knocks down all of the pins at once, receiving a strike. As the two celebrate, Yellow calls out to the other players for a challenge, and one of them, Mr. Bean, accepts the challenge and steps out to take his turn. He tosses his bowling ball at the pins and knocks down all of them except the seventh and tenth pins, resulting in a 7-10 split. Red then proceeds to mock Bean for making the split and remarks that he'll need an odd-shaped ball to knock down both pins, which gives the annoyed Bean an idea. He picks Red up and tosses him into the lane, successfully knocking over the remaining pins. As the other players celebrate, Red pops out of the pinsetter, dizzily remarks "Great teamwork, huh?" and is knocked off by a bowling ball rolling out of the pinsetter.

- Mr Bean was seen in advertising campaigns for M&Ms. The campaign started with the opening of the film in the UK.
- Packets of M&Ms carried a competition to win a Mr Bean Mini.
