Jurassic Bean is the 23rd episode of Season 4 of the Animated Series.
Synopsis[]
Mr. Bean is on a photography jaunt in the countryside snapping the normal everyday wildlife – a fox, a bird, a dinosaur! A DINOSAUR?!! He runs away from it until he gets an idea to take a photo of it, hoping he'll become famous. However, the dinosaur turns out to be part of a set for a movie called Jurassic Hero and Bean gets added to the cast and becomes the star.
Plot[]
Bean is in the forest taking photos of wildlife which includes mushrooms and a butterfly. While Bean comments that there's not much to see in the forest, a t-rex appears in the background. Bean spots a fox den and pictures the foxes inside. He thanks the foxes before leaving. He hears something coming from the bushes and he sees a fox looking for food from the trash but it's not good for picture-taking. Bean then sees large footprints which belong to a dinosaur, which intrigues him. He follows them and he gets scared when he hears a roar. There is a t-rex behind Bean, scaring him. Bean flees from the t-rex back to his Mini to escape the dinosaur. But he gets an idea of taking a photo of it, hoping he'll become famous.
So Bean returns to the forest and brings a large amount of meat to lure the t-rex. A bird comes out of the bushes, briefly scaring Bean. Bean sets up a trail of food that ends in his camera. So Bean waits for the t-rex; Several hours pass by and Bean is still waiting and falls asleep. He hears rustling sounds so he brings out his binoculars to check what animal was it. Suddenly, he sees the t-rex charging towards him but he sees the foxes munching on the cat food so he shoos them. But the t-rex is getting closer to him and Bean sees more foxes eating the turkey legs so he shoos them. Bean flees to the camera when the t-rex is getting nearer but he sees a family of foxes eating the meat so Bean shoos them.
However, The t-rex roars at Bean, making him flee from the dinosaur. Bean trips on a stick just as the t-rex approaches him. So Bean grabs the stick and swings it to the t-rex. The t-rex grabs the stick and eats Bean. , with Bean still inside. Bean, annoyed, escapes through the mouth of the Dinosaur. - The title is a parody of the book and movie Jurassic Park.
- This is second time that Mr. Bean was a cast of the movie, first one being in the episode "Home Movie" of the same season.
- This episode is similar to In The Wild in Season 1.
- The roar of the dinosaur sounds similar to Godzilla's roar in the 1998 movie Godzilla.
