Plot[]
Mr. Bean is told by Mrs. Wicket to cut the grass using the lawn mower. When the lawn mower does not work, he sees rabbits in cages and feeds them the grass. Bean builds a wheeled cage so the rabbits can walk while eating the grass while Bean relaxes by drinking juice. The doorbell rings, and Wicket answers it. An inventor arrives at the apartment to rent the room, seeing Mrs. Wicket's apartment advertised on the newspaper; Mrs. Wicket allots the inventor into the disused room (no. 3), much to his misery. Inside the room, the inventor looks at the rabbits eating the grass which he disapproves. Bean wakes up and sees the inventor use a remote-controlled lawn mower to cut the rest of the grass, shocking him. While Mrs. Wicket and the inventor are having a cup of tea, Bean sneaks the inventor's room, where he sees the blueprint of a proposed robot waiter and the robotic arm joystick. Bean presses a red button that makes the arm go forward out of the window. He then plays with it. Bean sees Scrapper on the Bruiser Family's lawn where Tutai is barking at Scrapper but can't move because he's chained. Bean uses the robot arm to remove the nail holding the chain, freeing Tutai. When Tutai sees that he's been freed, he chases Scrapper. Wicket hears Scrapper screeches and realizes that he's in trouble. Tutai jumps to Wicket's lawn and Scrapper climbs to the roof to escape Tutai. When Bean sees Wicket and the inventor outside, he turns off the robot arm and hides before they can see him. Wicket sees Scrapper on the roof and shoos Tutai who runs back home, scared. Bean goes outside whistling, acting as if he didn't do anything. Scrapper is unable to climb down so Bean and the inventor try to save him. Bean uses a ladder to save Scrapper but gets scared because he's too high. Bean approaches Scrapper but Scrapper doesn't want Bean to save him so he jumps to the antenna. The inventor uses his robotic arm to save Scrapper. The antenna snaps but the arm grab Scrapper's collar and the inventor safely puts him down to the ground. Bean, defeated, goes down from the roof himself.
Bean is watching TV in his room, annoyed that he once again lost to the inventor. Wicket then bursts to the room and tells Bean that he is moving upstairs, to which the inventor raises his eyebrows in triumph. Bean tries to protests but begrudgingly obeys. The inventor is happy that he now has a better room to stay and starts working on his new invention. In Bean's new room, he finds his toy cars which he uses to impress Wicket so she can give him his old room back. Bean installs the toy cars under Wicket's chair. Outside, Wicket hears something in her room she bursts in while holding a broom, ready to attack whoever is inside. Bean shows Wicket the toy cars installed underneath her chair. Scrapper, unimpressed, leaves while Wicket sits on her chair and moves the remote, causing the cars and her chair to move around, to her joy. The inventor runs back to his room and decides to impress Wicket using his own invention as revenge on Bean. Outside, Wicket is having fun on her modified chair while Bean watches her. The inventor introduces a levitating scooter to Wicket. Wicket presses the red button and the scooter starts floating. She then presses another button, causing the scooter to run around. The inventor once again raises his eyebrows because he has defeated Bean again. Wicket rides the scooter upstairs, sending Scrapper falling down the stairs, causing her to apologize to him.
At night, Bean spies the inventor constructing the robot waiter via the mirror from his room. The robot makes wine for the inventor. Bean then gets an idea. While the inventor is downstairs, knocking on Wicket's door to invite her for dinner, Bean sneaks to the inventor's room and sabotages the robot waiter by swapping the wires. When Bean hears Wicket he runs out of the room through the window back upstairs. The inventor presses the green button to make the robot start. The robot pulls out a bottle of wine, starts glitching, pours the wine onto Wicket and a plate of pasta. The inventor tries to turn it off but it doesn't work. The robot then grabs Wicket off the ground and shakes her while the inventor angrily pushes the red button, trying to turn it off. The robot breaks down and the inventor fearfully tries to explain to the furious Wicket that it wasn't his fault, but she wouldn't buy it. Bean listens and watches angry Mrs. Wicket yelling at the inventor, satisfied that he has succeeded. Outside, angry Mrs. Wicket kicks the inventor out, yelling at him not to come back while the inventor still explains it wasn't his fault. Bean raises his eyebrows at the inventor and says bye to him, finally defeating him. The inventor discovers it was Bean who sabotaged his robot and so he leaves angrily. After the inventor leaves, Wicket asks Bean about the binoculars he is wearing above his head. Bean feigns curiosity over what happened by removing a piece of pasta from Wicket's head before going back inside, while Wicket shakes her head in disapproval.
