Plot
The segment starts with Mr. Bean at home at night watching television. After gulping down his toast, he notices Teddy's piece, which he takes and gulps down as well, showing his tongue to a suspicious Teddy. After going through some channels, he finds a nature programme that he likes, which inspires him to go out into the wild and take some wildlife photography. He goes to his bedroom and gets his camera from under his bed while sneezing at how much dust its box has accumulated.
The next day, he prepares to leave, which starts out with him having strings tied to everything so he does not get burgled. He has Teddy on his chair with a three-star cardboard hotel. He spots Teddy's toast and gulps it down, and then uses a marker to scribble a star on Teddy's hotel, making it a two-star. As he leaves, he locks eleven locks from the outside of his door. The strings he had tied to furniture led through the door lock, which he pulled on, dragging all the furniture up against the door from the inside, making a barricade. As he leaves, he repeatedly tries to photograph a fly in the landing hallway and, after no luck, smashes it and continues on. As he is going down the steps, he notices a picture of a photographer with some deer in the distance. He imagines himself as the photographer, kisses his camera, and leaves.
After some bad driving and nearly four crashes with other drivers, he reaches a beautiful countryside. Wanting to photograph something, he pulls out his camera upon hearing birds chirping. However, every time he pulls out his camera, they stop chirping. Frustrated, he drives off. While looking for more wildlife later, bugs land on his binoculars, and a lot of birds and other animals land on top of his car. Unknowing of all the wildlife that is right in front of him, he drives off. He spots a blue butterfly, and by now he has birds, squirrels, raccoons, and a multitude of other animals on top of his car. As soon as he gets out to photograph the butterfly, they take off, leaving no trace. However, it is too shady, and there isn't enough light. He rigs jumper cables to his car's battery to power the lights he sets up, allowing him to take the picture. Just then, he hears a frog and slides the log it is on beside the butterfly to get them both in the picture. This proves to be a bad idea, though, as just as he is about to take the photo, the frog eats the butterfly and takes off, leaving Mr. Bean to scream in rage.
As he is in his tent that night, which is almost entirely made out of suitcases, he is cooking a steak when his alarm goes off. He remembers to call his flat for Teddy. Speeding off in his car, he reaches a telephone booth and calls his flat. The ringing phone sets off a contraption Mr. Bean set up: the vibrations from the phone knock down a container of salt, making a net swing. The net activates a remote-control train, which has another contraption he made: a broom and glove. The train's glove hits the television, turning it on as the engine hits the buffers. It turns on a nature show with a grizzly bear called Grizzly, which is for Teddy. He drives back to his suitcase tent.
As he wakes up and walks out of his tent, there is a mass of diverse wild life in front of his tent. Delighted, he grabs his camera and takes their picture. However, as they leave, he realises that he forgot to take the cap off of the camera lens first; Mr. Bean finally loses control of his rage and screams, frightening the animals and running away.
While crawling through a field with his binoculars and camera, he sees a pheasant, or so he thinks. As he takes out his camera and takes multiple photographs, it turns out to be the dress pattern of a fat lady. Offended, her husband pulls out his double-barreled shotgun and shoots at a fleeing Mr. Bean.
While at a telephone booth, he calls his flat again, which causes a bust to fall off of a slanted shelf, unplugging the television.
While driving home, he saw a fox. He follows it and finds it, its mate, and two pups in a den. Unable to calm them, he goes to a costume store and gets a fox costume. However, three hunters on horses ride by with a pack of hunting dogs, scaring the foxes away. The plan backfires, and then the hunters chase him.
While driving home in his car, he is still pursued. He gets out of his car when he reaches his house and shows them the back of the car, where the foxes had taken refuge earlier. However, they are hiding behind a post box on the pavement on the other side of the road. Finding no trace of the foxes, the dogs snarling and ready to chase him, Bean runs into the landing, not considering trying to take his fox costume off. As he goes up the stairs, into the hallway, and reaches his door, he starts unlocking the locks, as the dogs have broken open the front door. As he unlocks the last lock, he sticks his tongue out at the dogs and opens the door. However, before he left, he had made a barricade in front of his door; therefore, he is unable to get in. Although even if he is able to get in, the dogs would still break open his door, so it's pointless. The segment ends with snarling from the dogs and a shrieking Mr. Bean.

Trivia
- This is the first segment, along with Missing Teddy, to air.
- Mr. Bean is shown to have an extra room in his flat. This room contains yellow walls. It is only seen in this segment, Missing Teddy, No Pets and Neighbourly Bean and after the latter episode, that yellow extra room isn't shown again for the rest of the series.
- This is the second time Mr. Bean went into frustration after his photograph was ruined; the first time was in the live-action episode, Goodnight Mr. Bean.
- In the first shot of the episode, a night bus passes by Mr. Bean's home bearing silhouettes of the passengers on board, one of whom is strangling another by the neck.
- In some of the driving scenes in this and later segments, Mr. Bean is shown to be a static 3D model while in his Mini. This model is only seen when animating him in the car at angles that don't require so much attention to detail. It's also the only segment where the face actually moves.
Errors
- The bus that Mr. Bean nearly crashes into appears to be unusually small compared to the other vehicles. It is likely that its size was reduced due to the small road.
- The forest shown on the outside appears to be very small, but this could just be perspective, as it is large on the inside.
- The number of dogs changes constantly throughout the episode.
- Many of the birds seem to lack beaks.
- The engine on the train is an LNER 0-4-0 Tender Engine.
