Hotel Bean is the 22nd episode of Season 2 and 74th episode overall of Mr. Bean: The Animated Series. It originally aired over CITV on September 10, 2015.
This episode has two official uploads on YouTube, both on official channel and Mr. Bean World channel. Both uploads masses of 12.5 million views in total with the first upload being the highest viewed.
Synopsis[]
Mr. Bean has some unexpected Japanese guests who think he runs a hotel.
Plot[]
Mr. Bean sniffs his flowers outside of the window and suddenly two Japanese guest stopped at his apartment mistaken it as a hotel. Both of them knocked at the door and Mr. Bean opens it and one of them start speaking to Mr. Bean in Japanese, Mr. Bean starts to get very confused because he doesn't understand what they are saying. He show Mr. Bean a flyer (that looks exactly like he and Mrs. Wicket's apartment except for the two doors) and he finally understands what they mean. Mr. Bean was about to tell them that they went to the wrong place but when he was about to say it, The Guest shows him his money and he welcomes them. Confused Mrs. Wicket ask Mr. Bean what is going on and he tells her to pretend that their apartment is an actual hotel.
Both of the guest enter Mrs. Wicket's apartment, Mr. Bean ask them if they want a cup of tea and Mr. Bean shows them how to serve it. Both of them finally understands how to serve it. In the kitchen, Mr. Bean check what the hotel rooms look like. Meanwhile, both of them tries to purr Scrapper but Scrapper roars at them. Back in the kitchen, Mr. Bean tells Mrs. Wicket to distract them by serving them tea. Mrs. Wicket ask them if they want sugar or more tea while Mr. Bean grab some instructions and head them upstairs into his room. Mr. Bean rips off Mrs. Wicket's drapes and cuts almost all of the petals outside to decorate the room. Mr. Bean makes a quick distraction by telling them the weather is great and all of them head to the room.
The guest's starts getting hungry, Mr. Bean tells them to watch some television while waiting for their food, the wrestling show pops up in the TV distracting Mrs. Wicket and Mr. Bean tells her to stop watching and both went to the kitchen. Both of them found nothing and Mr. Bean decided to order Fish and Chips and tells Mrs. Wicket to go get some. Mr. Bean makes another distraction by making them listen to music he made up using several kitchen props and both of them gets entertained. Mrs. Wicket reaches Mr. Bean the food and tells them that dinner is served. The male guest starts getting mad, he starts ranting on Mr. Bean in Japanese and yells that their apartment is not a hotel in English. Mr. Bean takes them to the real hotel they are looking for, the female guest says "Sayonara" to Mr. Bean which means "Goodbye".
Meanwhile at the hotel, both of the guest starts remembering their experience in the apartment and goes back to their apartment for a visit. The Guests knocks at the door and tells Mr. Bean to play the song he sang earlier, which he did.
