Homeless is the 12th episode of Season 1 of the Animated Series.
Synopsis
Mr. Bean is kicked out of his flat when Mrs. Wicket misinterprets Bean being hidden under a blanket.
Plot
Bean is ready for bed so he irons it to remove the wrinkles. Bean goes to sleep but forgets to turn off the lamp so he turns it off. But he forgets to turn off the other lights so he gets up and turns it off. Unfortunately, it's now dark so Bean has to watch his steps back to his bed. Unfortunately, Bean hits his ironing board, causing a loud crash that briefly wakes Scrapper and Wicket up. Bean finally goes to sleep but Wicket sleepwalks to his room and to his bed when the clock shows 2am. Needing to get Mrs. Wicket off his bed, Bean clears his throat to wake her up but nothing happens. Bean then uses his alarm clock to wake Wicket up but still nothing happens, though the alarm works on waking Scrapper up. Bean then bangs two pans together but Wicket still doesn't wake up. Left with no other choice, Bean ties Wicket around his mattress and brings her back to her room. When Mrs. Wicket is on her chair Bean puts a blanket on her. Scrapper wakes her up as revenge on Bean for scaring him with his alarm clock earlier. Bean in panic hides under her blanket. Wicket cuddles Scrapper thinking he's under her blanket only for her to see him beside her. She then opens her blanket, revealing a nervous Bean underneath it. She screams loudly in rage, while the pigeons flying away from apartment rooftops and thrown Bean out.
The next morning, Bean sleeps on the park bench with his briefcase as his pillow. His alarm goes off and he unknowingly uses a blue bird as his toothbrush. He coughs when he realizes his used the bird to brush his teeth and the bird flies away. Bean changes his clothes and packs his things, then he puts the trash back to the bin. He then sees a newspaper advertising rentals. Bean goes to the first flat where he is greeted by the landlady and shows the room. Later, the landlady serves Bean an exotic food which is crocodile, much to Bean's disgust. She then laughs maniacally then blows her horn. Bean leaves the flat, scared of the landlady. Bean goes to the second flat but he sees that toys like Teddy are forbidden like a prohibition road side so he leaves immediately. Bean then goes to the third flat in which the landlord shows him the bedroom, which is outside and alongside the home of pigs and chicken. Angry and disgusted, Bean leaves again. Bean goes to the fourth flat where he is greeted by the landlord and pays him £20. He goes inside only to realize it's just a fake house and the "landlord" is actually the smaller bandit in disguise. After they finish scamming Bean, they drive off. Bean crosses out every rentals he tried to visit.
Bean discovers firewood that he uses to camp out. He tastes his soup which tastes bad so Bean takes out the carrot nose of the scarecrow and uses it to make his soup taste better. At night, Bean goes to sleep which he uses leaves as his blanket just as a downpour occurs. In his Mini, Bean looks at his former home and cries. But he sees that his room is now for rent, so he disguises himself by taking the things off the scarecrow and wearing them to get back in. In disguise, Bean shows the ad to Wicket and she lets him in. Bean also greets Scrapper. Wicket shows the disguised Bean his old room. When Wicket leaves, Bean removes his disguise, happy to have his old room back. He kisses the floor and the TV but can't because of the scarecrow teeth so he spits it out and kisses the TV. When Bean sleeps, Wicket once again sleepwalks. Bean has to wear his disguise again to put Wicket back to her room. But unlike last time, Wicket wakes up when Bean puts the blanket on her. Wicket screams in horror when she sees the new tenant and readies to attack him but stops when she sees Bean "fighting" the new tenant. When Bean "defeats" the new tenant, he throws the disguise out and Wicket lets him stay again. Later, Bean is ready for bed just as Wicket "sleepwalks" but it turns out she made tea and cake for him.
