Synopsis[]
Mr. Bean is trying to impress some kids in the park with his football skills but winds up kicking their ball into a dilapidated, scary-looking house. He has to go in and get it back. A feral cat living inside decides to steal Teddy, and in the chase around the insides of the house Bean manages something not even a wrecking ball can do.
Plot[]
It's a windy day at the park and Bean is shivering from the cold and a leaf goes to his face so he removes it. He spots two kids playing kick the ball and he sits on the bench. Bean brings out a book with a picture of a haunted house in its cover; he starts reading the book and he gets scared. The ball suddenly lands on him, causing him to fall behind the bench. The two kids apologize to Bean and they ask for their ball back. Bean decides to play with the ball, confusing the kids, and the boy tells him to kick it. Bean kicks the ball but the wind blows the ball, making Bean miss when he kicks it and making him fall down. The two kids laugh. Annoyed, Bean gets the ball and tries to kick it back to them when a gust of wind blows the ball all the way to a haunted house. The two kids glare at Bean for losing their ball and Bean blames the wind. The boy tells Bean he has to get the ball.
Bean reluctantly agrees and he gets Teddy and his book. They approach the haunted house but the fences are too high so Bean can't climb them. Bean looks through the hole and he sees the broken window where the ball crashed through. Bean tells the kids he needs a leg up and he reaches the top of the fence but the wind blows him off the fence and to the thorny bush below. The girl gives Bean Teddy. Bean reaches for the window but it's too high and the door to the basement is locked. Bean goes to the front door of the haunted house; he looks at his book and he gets scared because the haunted house resembles the haunted house in the cover of his book. The wind opens the front door and Bean gets scared. Bean climbs the stairs when a step breaks, scaring him. Bean opens the door and enters the haunted house. He spots the ball on the stairs; he makes sounds that echo throughout the house. He walks around and he gets scared when he sees a tiger pelt. Bean tells Teddy not to panic when he sees a lot of animal pelts. He tickles a cat thinking it's stuffed but it turns out to be alive and it gets Teddy.
Bean chases the cat to another room but most of its floors are gone leaving only wooden boards intact, so Bean hangs on the door. The cat walks to the other end of the room. Bean has to cross the wooden boards to reach the cat and save Teddy. He tries to call the cat but it doesn't work so he goes to the boards but his weight causes it to shake. It starts cracking until it collapses and Bean reaches the other end but the cat and Teddy are gone. The cat has crossed the other wooden board back to the entrance of the room, annoying Bean. Bean crosses the wooden boards the cat crossed but it collapses and he hangs on the chandelier. But the chandelier collapses and Bean falls to the basement where he lands on a bed.
Outside, the kids are still waiting for Bean when Bill Durr arrives driving a wrecking ball, ready to demolish the haunted house. The kids are worried because Bean is still inside. Bean climbs the ladder to exit the basement and he sees the cat go up the stairs so he pursues it, ignoring the ball because he has to save Teddy. The cat enters a room and is on top of a bed. When Bean confronts the cat, he nearly falls to the hole. Bean climbs the bed to reach the cat but it jumps down and the upper part of the bed collapses. Worse, the floor the bed is on begins to collapse and Bean falls back to the basement. He sees the cat upstairs. Outside, Bill Durr is drinking tea and he starts demolishing the old house. Bean climbs back from the basement and he gets a cat food from the cat box but it's empty. So he goes to the kitchen to get food for the cat. Bean opens a pantry and he only sees old items and a spider inside. He opens another pantry but it's stuck so he forces himself to open it, causing it to snap and destroy the faucet, causing water to flow. Bean tries to cover it but can't because he can't stay there. He gets another cat food and this time it's not empty. Bean feeds the cat and he is able to get Teddy back. Bill Durr is about to demolish the building, worrying the kids because Bean is still inside. But Bill Durr is having trouble with the wrecking ball. Bean gets the ball from the stairs and the banister breaks. The old house starts breaking apart so he grabs the cat and runs outside. When Bean makes it outside, the old house breaks completely before the wrecking ball can reach it. Bill Durr and the two kids are shocked; the door behind Bean collapses as well. Bean approaches the angry Bill Durr but he's happy because Bean saved him a job. Bill Durr likes the cat so Bean gives the cat to him; he also gives the cat food to Bill Durr. Bean gives the two kids their ball back. They say bye to Bill Durr who leaves alongside his new cat pet. Bean can now resume reading his horror book on the bench and the kids' ball lands on Bean once again. So the kids ask Bean for their ball back again. Looking back at the destroyed haunted house and the wind, instead of kicking or throwing the ball, Bean just pushes it back to the kids. The kids resume playing their ball and Bean resumes reading his horror book where he gets scared once again.

Trivia[]
- This episode marks the last appearance of Bill Durr.
- This episode is similar to The Ball.
- Both episodes involve the ball ending up in hard-to-reach places and Bean has to go there to retrieve the ball.
- The ball is owned by two people (two kids in this episode; Bruiser Sr. and Bruiser Jr. in The Ball).
- It would be impossible for the ball to land where it did because it landed on the stairs which would not be reachable from the spot it went through the window.
