Plot
Bean is having a picnic in the park and pulls out two cakes and he eats one. Bean then asks Teddy if he can have the second cake to which he nods Teddy so he eats it. Bean relaxes when a toy airplane flies above him. He sees Bruiser Jr. flying his toy airplane and he tears Teddy, infuriating Bean. Bruiser Jr. laughs at Bean and Bean tries to get revenge on Bruiser Jr. only to encounter Bruiser Sr. Scared, Bean pretends that he's feeling hot and he pulls his two pants upwards and goes to the pond to "cool" himself. The two Bruisers leave and Bruiser Jr. blows a raspberry at Bean.
Later, Bean walks by outside a toy store and sees a toy airplane that costs £20. He checks his wallet and two butterflies come out of it; he realizes he has no money. At home, Bean sews Teddy's head and puts a green wig on his head. He then puts Teddy on a chair and turns on the TV to a show about bees. Bean tiptoes behind Teddy and pulls out a teddy bank. He removes the head and gets something inside the teddy bank but his hand gets stuck. So Bean sneaks to the kitchen and tries to apply soap to make his hand slippery and squirts shampoo to the bank but all it does is make bubbles. He hits a table and prevents a vase from falling down and puts it on top of the fridge. Bean successfully frees his hand from the teddy bank, breaking the vase but finding the £20 he needs to buy the toy plane.
Bean enters the toy store and sees kids playing with toys. Bean sees a toy train and removes a part of the tracks; he briefly acts as a bridge and snickers mischievously. The guard is eating a sandwich while he sees Bean through the camera and leaves to find him. The cashier controls the toy plane, fascinating everyone. Bean happily looks at the toy plane the line has already started, annoying him. When Bean sees the last airplane, he throws the girl's doll away so she brings her dad to let her get it. Bean buys the toy plane, confusing the cashier because it's already taken but he accepts the payment anyway. The guard enters the area looking for Bean and sees the train about to fall off the train track (since Mr. Bean forgot to replace the track part he removed) so he tries to stop but he runs into Bean, sending the pieces flying just as the train falls off. Bean fortunately, catches all the parts and leaves before the guard sees him. The front of the train comes out from under the guard, dented but still functioning properly. Bean walks to the park and sees Bruiser Jr. flying his plane.
At night, Bean assembles the toy plane but does it incorrectly so he has to do it again; times flies fast and Bean starts rebuilding the toy plane. By 4:58 a.m., Bean's toy plane is finished except it is missing one part: the propeller. He uses a magnifying glass to search for it in various parts of his room, then downstairs, then outside. Later, Bean is driving his Mini while looking at the side of the road instead of looking in front of him. The Reliant avoids him but falls to the dumpster. Bean continues searching for the propeller on the road but stops when he sees the stoplight turn red. He removes his magnifying glass and he realizes that it's actually far; it's only near because of his magnifying glass. Outside the toy store, he continues searching for the propeller only to be blocked by the guard. Bean spots the propeller inside the store so Bean fools the guard into thinking he wants to take a photo of him. Bean tricks the guard out of the store and takes a photo of him. He goes inside the toy store and closes the doors to get the propeller. The guard goes back to the store only to realize he's on the road; he gets angry when he realizes Bean tricked him. He avoids the Reliant who drives into an instrument truck. Bean gets the propeller and drives away, hitting a car behind him when he reverses, removing the front bumper in the process; the guard rants at Bean.
At night, his toy plane is now complete and he tests out the propeller and then goes to sleep. The next day at the park, Bruiser Jr. is flying his toy plane when Bean sends his plane, containing Teddy, after the boy's airplane. Bruiser Jr. tries to move his toy plane away from Bean's plane but Bean's toy plane's wing hits Bruiser Jr.'s toy plane's wing, knocking it into the water. Bean celebrates his success and a heartbroken Bruiser Jr. wails in dismay. Furious at Bean for making his son cry, Bruiser Sr. grabs Bean by the neck and breaks the remote. After that, Bruiser Sr. leaves with his son, who is still crying. The remote is broken so Bean can no longer control his remote and he sees Teddy flying away, saddening him. It's nighttime, Bean is on the roof still looking for Teddy; he replaces the joystick with a fork. He has placed candles on the path to the door parallel to each other. Fortunately, Bean finds Teddy and guides the plane to a landing. Unfortunately, the candles he has used for the runway set the plane on fire. Wicket puts her milk bottle outside and Scrapper runs away when he sees the burning plane fly towards him. The burning plane then flies to the sky, presumably destroying Teddy and devastating Bean. On bed, a heartbroken and devastated Bean lies in bed, looking up at a photo of Teddy and crying, believing his best friend is gone for good. Fortunately, Teddy is ejected when the plane exploded and descends on his parachute into Bean's chimney. Teddy then lands in Bean's fireplace but Bean doesn't notice him at first. Then, when the windows outside are shown, Bean turns on the lights, overjoyed to reunite with Teddy again.

- When Bean enters the toy shop, one of the people is displaying a Mr. Bean puppet to a couple of kids.
- A few elements were taken from the episode Goodnight Mr. Bean, such as Bean having one hand stuck to something, Bean throwing the girl's doll to get closer to the desk and Bean attempting to take a picture of a guard.
Censorship
- On Cartoon Network and Boomerang airings in Asia, the scene where Bruiser Sr. grabs Mr. Bean by the neck was cut out, probably due to being violent.
Errors
- When Mr. Bean says "Teddy" before going to bed, his mouth doesn't move on the second syllable.
- The same error occurs when Bruiser Sr. grabs Bean by the neck and says "Naughty, naughty!" without his mouth moving.
