Synopsis[]
Mrs. Wicket becomes inconsolable when Scrapper goes missing, so Mr. Bean decide to investigate. At the end, Scrapper's screaming keeps him awake, while Bean and Scrapper goes to home, Bean takes him to Mrs. Wicket.
Plot[]
Bean is sleeping on his bed when Wicket is looking for Scrapper, waking him up. Bean tries to sleep but Wicket keeps looking for Scrapper. Bean looks at the time and it's 5:30. He finally gets out of bed because he is unable to sleep. Bean looks out the window and he sees Wicket searching for Scrapper who went missing. He shushes Wicket and Wicket tells Bean Scrapper went missing which Bean isn't surprised. Not caring because he doesn't like Scrapper, Bean goes back to sleep but he can longer sleep because Wicket keeps searching for Scrapper. Bean takes a bath in his tub; he is playing with Teddy, a toy boat, and a toy shark. But Wicket knocks on Bean's door, forcing Bean to leave his tub to answer the door. Wicket asks Bean if Scrapper is inside his room to which Bean says he doesn't think so but Wicket goes in anyway, pushing him out of the way. Wicket searches for Scrapper in Bean's room. Bean tells Wicket her cat isn't in his room so he shoos her because he's still taking a bath. Bean goes back to his tub but it's cold.
After bathing, Bean is watching a racing game on TV but Wicket is still searching for Scrapper so Bean increases the volume. But Wicket is still searching for Scrapper so Bean opens his window; Wicket tells Bean she won't rest until she finds Scrapper; Bean says and neither will he because he can't relax with her constant calling. Not having any choice, Bean has to do something. He cuts Scrapper off photos so he can put him in a missing poster. He writes the reward which is a measly £1.36 and the number. Bean goes to the printing shop to photocopy the missing poster. But nothing happens because Bean doesn't know how to use the printer. Bean puts his face in the photocopy and it copies it. The man turns off the machine and Bean discards all the copies of his face. Bean then photocopies the missing poster; he puts a missing poster on the counter. Then he puts the missing posters around the city, where the traffic warden is writing a ticket on a van; she turns around, revealing Bean put a missing poster on her back.
Tired, Bean returns home where Wicket exits her room, still looking for Scrapper to which Bean says no so Wicket goes back inside her room. Back in Bean's room, he is waiting for someone to call him. It's night time and Bean is sleeping while still waiting for someone to call him; he wakes up because he gets surprised when Wicket calls Scrapper. He answers the phone, thinking he received a call only to realize it was Wicket searching for Scrapper. Bean looks out the window and he sees Wicket using a megaphone to call Scrapper. Bean decides that he has to find Scrapper himself so he gets the necessary items to get Scrapper back. He has attached the flashlight to a long stick and he ties the fish to a rope. Bean tries the other side of the street. Other cats are attracted by the fish and they take it, ignoring Bean's shoos. He leaves his Mini and goes to the dark alley, thinking that Scrapper could be there. Bean spots Scrapper's broken collar. He hears a meow from a distance and he sees Scrapper in the sewers. Bean tries to open the grille but he can't so he finds a manhole and enters there. He calls Scrapper and he hears his meow from the distance. Bean hears a squeaking noise which he thinks is his shoes; he points a flashlight at it and sees it's a rat. Scared, Bean runs away from the rat, who pursues him. He gets shocked by the loud squeak, causing the edge of the floor to collapse and making Bean hold the wall on the other side so he doesn't fall to the sewer; his flashlight falls to the sewer. The rat goes to him so Bean removes it after multiple attempts. It still chases Bean and Bean captures it using a basket. Bean traps it under the basket and puts a brick on top of the basket so it can't escape. Bean finds Scrapper and calls him to go to him. He nearly loses his balance but he stays on the floor. Bean gets a nearby shovel and points it to Scrapper so he can cross there to go to him but Scrapper still won't jump to the shovel. So Bean puts a fish on the shovel which Scrapper tries to get. But Bean loses his balance and his grip, causing the shovel and the fish to fall to the sewer. Bean wants to give up but he still needs to rescue Scrapper so he removes the wooden boards on the pushcart and places it on the sewer. He builds a makeshift bridge using the wooden boards and the pushcart to go to the other side. Scrapper jumps to him. They safely make it back while the two wooden boards fall to the sewer. Bean sees that the rat has escaped, to his horror. Scrapper sees the rat so he screeches at it, scaring it and making it flee. Bean thanks and hugs Scrapper and Scrapper jumps off him. A woman takes out her trash and she gets scared when she sees Scrapper and Bean emerge from the manhole, thinking that they're a monster; she runs back inside. Bean takes Scrapper home where he's finally reunited with Wicket. Wicket thanks Bean for rescuing Scrapper and Bean gives back his collar. Bean pets Scrapper to which Scrapper screeches at him. Bean says goodnight to them to which Wicket just closes the door. He goes back to bed where he hears Scrapper screeching. So Bean, annoyed, goes out the window and sees Scrapper screeching outside. Bean covers himself with the pillow because the stupid cat's screeching is keeping him awake.
