Car Wash is the 32nd episode of Season 4 of the Animated Series.
Synopsis[]
Mr Bean earns money by washing people's cars, but Mrs Wicket wants Mr Bean's money.
Plot[]
The episode starts with Mr. Bean returning home while his Mini is dirty. He stops because there's a bird in front of him so he honks his Mini to make it move. The bird then flies away and Bean can now park his Mini. The bird then defecates at Bean's Mini, annoying him. Bean then cleans his Mini when the bird returns to it so Bean shoos it and it flies away. Just like earlier it defecates at his Mini again, annoying Bean yet again. Wicket then tells Bean to clean his car. Bean, angry, prepares to throw his sponge to Wicket but stops when she looks at him. Bean removes the droppings with his sponge but nothing happens so he uses his brush to clean the droppings. Bean's Mini is now clean just as the bird returns. Bean shoos the bird and it defecates on his Mini's bonnet, forcing Bean to clean it again.
Bean then returns home when a yellow dirty car comes and the driver asks Bean to clean his car to which Bean says no. But the man holds £10 so Bean changes his mind and tells the driver to wait because he has an idea. Bean goes to his bathroom and unscrews his bathtub. Bean drags his bathtub outside his room and slides it down the stairs to go outside. Bean goes to the shack to get the extension wires, the hose, and various other equipment. He then goes to Wicket's room and gets her sheets except her underwear. Bean then finishes making his car wash made out of a bathtub, a garden hose, a pair of trousers, a bicycle, Scrapper's cover, and curtains. Bean tells the driver to reverse and he places the rear of the broom inside a rain boot. He puts water in his bathtub just as the driver is still waiting.
Once Bean is finished with the contraption, he pedals his bike which washes the yellow car. The driver is satisfied and he pays Bean the £10. Then a line of cars arrive. Next, a violet New Beetle comes to the car washing machine to get washed. The driver pays Bean £10. Wicket returns home and sees Bean's car washing machine. She then asks Bean if he's using her curtains to which the other drivers honk their horn, wanting their cars to get cleaned. Wicket joins in when she sees the money in the bucket. Wicket gives tea to the driver while Bean cleans his brown car. When Bean finishes cleaning the man's car, the man pays Wicket £10 instead of Bean. Bean, tired, sits to rest and wants to eat cookies but Wicket won't let him. Bean returns home when he hears a honk but he's tired so he says they're closed. Wicket tells Bean to look at the car which is a dirty blue luxury car, and the driver holds £20. So Bean tells the driver to stop at the car washing machine. The driver then goes to the lounge to relax while Bean pedals the bike to clean the car. Unfortunately, the same bird defecates on the luxury car so Bean blocks the droppings; he cleans his coat when a whole flock of birds arrive, to Bean's horror, and they all defecate on the luxury car. Angry that is car is dirty again, the driver takes his money back.
Bean finds a solution to remove the droppings off the car just as Wicket offers biscuit to the driver to which the driver says no. Bean enters his kitchen and gets a dough mixer, a whisk, a brush, and a metal scrub. Bean puts them together and makes an electric hand blender. He uses it to clean the car but he ends up removing the paint off the car, causing the driver to faint. Bean, having no choice, scrapes off all the paint, making the car silver. The driver wakes up and, to his horror and fury, sees all the paint gone. The passenger, who turns out to be Queen Elizabeth II, exits from the back and praises Bean for his work. At the Queen's request, the driver begrudgingly pays Bean. They then depart and Wicket takes the money from Bean because she'll look after it, to Bean's frustration.
