Bruiser Family

The Bruiser Family are a group of antagonists in Mr. Bean: The Animated Series. The next door neighbours to Mr. Bean and Mrs. Wicket, the Bruisers are portrayed as a bunch of working class, overweight, aggressive, stupid, selfish and bad-tempered people, and because of this, are often at odds with Bean and to some extent, Mrs. Wicket. They are also the main antagonists of the episode Neighbourly Bean.

Characters[]

Bruiser Sr.[]

Most of the time he is shown to be a cruel, aggressive, selfish bully, particularly towards Bean. There's few times when he was actually nice to him.

Bruiser Sr.'s Wife[]

She is very lazy, as well as aggressive and selfish, just like her husband.

Bruiser Jr.[]

He is always up to mischief and causing havoc with his bad behaviour. He is almost always seen with his father and he owns the black dog Fang.

Bruiser Sr.'s Daughter[]

She is always blowing her trumpet out loud and she is terribly bad tempered and greedy just like her father.

Bruiser Sr.'s Mother[]

Unlike the rest, she is rather being more sensitive, gentle, and polite than the rest. She is only shown in the Series 2 episode, "Super Spy"

Baby Bruiser[]

He never gets any sleep and he never gets fed and is always throwing tantrums by crying that shows irresponsible parents.

Fang[]

He is the neighbour's vicious black dog. Extremely aggressive and violent, it is liable to attack anyone or anything for any reason. Mr. Bean and Mrs. Wicket's cat, Scrapper, often ends up as its victims.

Trivia[]

In the animated series' first season, the Bruisers were unnamed and were only referred to as "The Neighbours".
The Bruisers often appear as father and son.
