Art Thief is the 13th episode of Season 2 of the Animated Series.
Synopsis[]
Mr. Bean goes to an art museum but doesn't like naked pictures and statues. Then, when he see's a thief trying to steal the flower portrait, he takes a picture but takes time for it to reveal. But by the time when the photo's revealed, he saw the portrait gone and misunderstands this thinking that the thief steals it and goes on a goose chase. But it turns out that the artist was the one who takes the portrait to clean it and Bean managed to capture the art thief. But when his car has stopped working, he tries to fix it only to be interrupted by the female traffic officer.
Plot[]
Mr. Bean is going to the museum. He parks his car and exits it. He notices a Traffic Warden. Mr Bean picked a fake leg from his trunk. He used the fake leg to trick the Traffic Warden into thinking that he is repairing his car. Mr Bean get a wrench and pulls up the hood of his car to make the plan more realistic. Mr Bean took some picture in the front of the museum. After that, the warden stares and saw Mr. Bean's mini. As she is about to issue a ticket, she notices a leg underneath it with a wrench. She terminates it, considering that it was an emergency.
Once Mr Bean enters the museum. He starts to stare at everything inside the lobby of the museum. He saw a painting that has a guy pointing to something. Mr Bean quickly gets up to the painting to determine the guy that is pointing on the painting. Mr Bean know that the guy was pointing into the ceiling of the museum. Mr Bean sticks his face onto the painting. After that, Mr Bean rotates the ceiling about 45 degrees to make the painting point to the toilet door.
Mr Bean saw the guard sleeping. Mr Bean tries to wake him up but ignores him later on. Mr Bean saw a sculpture without censorship and acts like a kid who don't want to see inappropriate objects. Mr Bean saw another sculpture just like the first one, so Mr Bean tries to cover the side of his two eyes.
Mr Bean saw an amazing painting with flowers on it. Mr Bean stares at it and he takes a picture. Mr Bean pull out the photo from his camera and shakes it to see the thumbnail. Mr Bean is going to take a selfie with the painting, but accidentally hits the laser, triggering the alarm. The guard at the lobby wakes up, shatters his cup, and goes somewhere else. Mr Bean starts to mess with the laser, even dropping a handkerchief on the laser to see if the hankerchief also triggers the alarm.
Mr Bean saw the students coming into the lobby. But Mr Bean suddenly realize they are going near the sculptures. Mr Bean covered the first sculpture with his coat to make the sculpture appropriate for children. He covered the another one with his handkerchief.
Mr Bean saw an art thief as he starts to drop and open his briefcase. He saw a laser alarm so he tries to take the painting more carefully. But he heard Mr Bean took a picture of him taking the painting. So he was shocked and accidentally triggered the alarm. The thief quickly ran away but Mr Bean, blowing the picture to make the thumbnail appear in the picture. But he didn't know that one of the staff of the museum turned off the laser and picked up the painting to clean it.
But once the thumbnail appears on the picture, Mr Bean looked at the painting and was shocked that the painting was missing. Mr Bean calls for help and he get his coat from the sculpture. He holds it to make the sculpture stop oscillating as it is about to fall.
The Art Thief get out the museum driving his blue car and Mr Bean goes after him in his Mini. The Traffic Warden tries to stop Mr Bean, thinking there is a guy underneath the car, not knowing that it is really a pair of fake legs. When Mr Bean drives off and crushes the legs, the warden faints.
The thief and Mr Bean have a car chase along the countryside. Mr Bean overtake to stop the thief, but Mr Bean saw an oncoming truck on the other lane. Back to the scene: the warden finds out that it was fake legs all along.
The thief and Mr Bean just pass by a sign saying FRANCE. And a boat under it indicating that it is a boat pier going to France, The two drive onto the pier and get inside the ship. But when the Reliant Regal is about to drive into the ship, it starts to break down. Mr Bean honks at the Reliant Regal to force it to move, but gives up and overtakes the Reliant Regal to make his way into the boat, accidentally causing the one man band to fall off the pier.
After leaving United Kingdom. Upon arriving, there is a guy singing with his accordion. The chase continues as the thief gets off the boat. But the Reliant Regal broke once again, forcing Mr Bean to overtake it again, accidentally causing the guy with accordion to fall off the pier.
They roam around France and they finally reached the Eiffel Tower. There is a extreme traffic near the tower. The thief looks for somewhere to escape the traffic and he drove on the street along with Mr Bean. The mime tries to perform and get the attention of the two people kissing underneath the tower. But once the thief reaches the tower. The thief almost hit the mime. But once Mr Bean reached on the Eiffel Tower. The mime tries to stop Mr Bean from chasing the thief, leaving him angry. Every time Mr Bean tries to overtake the mime, the mime stops him.
The thief successfully stole a painting from a different museum in France. Mr Bean impersonates a gun at the mime and acts like he is shooting at him to make him stop. The thief hits a waiter as he drives away, spilling a shake onto his windshield and causing him to accidentally crash into the foot of Eiffel Tower. Mr Bean get the painting from the trunk. He cruises back to England with the thief. He enters inside the museum and try to get the painting back in it. But Mr Bean is shocked because it was a different painting, which turns out to be Aphrodite. Mr Bean tries to block the painting in order to make the kids not the see the inappropriate painting.
Then, the police arrived at the museum. As Mr Bean explains the situation, he shows the picture, but the first picture was incorrect, so he showed in second picture with the thief in it. The guard shows Mr Bean and the police where the painting is, inside a private room where it is being cleaned.
The thief stole the painting once again and the authorities heard him running away. Mr Bean gets him once again by pushing the ball under the sculpture to strike the thief from behind, but the former screams in horror because he sees the statue's private part while the children are laughing, and the thief is later arrested.
After solving the crime, Bean's car breaks down for real, so he goes underneath the car to fix it. The warden passes by and sees the legs again, she then rolls up her sleeves and tries to pull the leg as she thinks they are once again fake, but they are not, causing Mr Bean to scream.

Censorship[]
- On Disney Channel Asia airings, the scene of Michelangelo was cut out due to nudity. However, the painting of the Aphrodite remains uncut due to story importance.
Trivia[]
- This is the first Mr. Bean's visit in France and the second is Mr. Bean's Holiday
- The scene where Bean puts mannequin legs underneath his car with the wrench placed there was inspired by the deleted scene of the 1997 film.
Errors[]
- When Mr. Bean chased the thief, after they go through the arch to Buckingham Palace, the place switched from London to countryside. This is possibly due to time change.
- London was mislocated in Banbury
- When the thief crashed into the Eiffel Tower foot, it was shorter than a person. However, in real life, the foot is taller than a person.
